Christina
Christina is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience supporting newborns and postpartum families, bringing together clinical expertise, calm confidence, and genuinely nurturing care. , she has worked on the Mother Baby Unit at Humber River Health, where she provides postpartum and neonatal nursing care, supports infant feeding and breastfeeding, monitors newborn wellbeing, and helps families feel prepared and confident as they transition home with their baby.
Her experience has given her a strong understanding of both routine newborn care and more complex concerns, including jaundice, feeding challenges, postpartum recovery, and the needs of families following vaginal and Caesarean births.
She is also trained in Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and breastfeeding support, offering families an additional layer of reassurance during those vulnerable early weeks.
Families can expect Christina to be warm, observant, discreet, and highly attentive. She approaches each family without judgement, taking the time to understand their preferences, culture, feeding goals, and the individual rhythm of their baby. Overnight, her goal is to create a calm and beautifully supported environment where parents can truly rest knowing their newborn is being cared for by an experienced professional who notices the small details.
With her combination of maternal-newborn nursing, trauma-informed care, parent education, and hands-on newborn experience,Christina is especially well suited to first-time parents, families wanting additional clinical reassurance, breastfeeding families, and parents looking for exceptionally thoughtful overnight support during the fourth trimester.
