Nina
Birth & Postpartum Doula | Childbirth Educator (Hypnobirthing) | Social Service Worker (SSW)
Nina is a passionate birth and postpartum professional whose own journey into motherhood inspired her life's work. After welcoming her three children into the world through calm, challenging, and deeply spiritual birth experiences, she began to recognize that this was not the reality for every family.
Driven by curiosity and compassion, Nina became deeply interested in understanding why some parents feel empowered throughout pregnancy and birth while others do not. This realization sparked her commitment to helping transform the birth experience through compassionate, evidence-informed support rooted in a culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive, and feminist lens.
Nina is a Certified Birth Doula, a trained Postpartum Doula, a Certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator, and a Social Service Worker. She is also completing her Lamaze Childbirth Educator certification and Placenta Encapsulation training, allowing her to provide families with comprehensive, holistic support from pregnancy through the postpartum period.
Known for her incredible energy, warm presence, and genuine passion for supporting families, Nina is truly a joy to be around. She brings positivity, empathy, and professionalism into every interaction, creating a calm and reassuring environment where parents feel heard, respected, and empowered. Her attentive nature and ability to connect with families allow her to provide personalized support that meets each family's unique needs while fostering confidence during one of life's most transformative seasons.
Drawing on both her professional expertise and lived experience as a mother, Nina believes that every family deserves compassionate care, informed choices, and a strong support system. Her background in social services further strengthens her ability to advocate for families with empathy, cultural humility, and an unwavering commitment to equitable care.
